Chapter Seven : To The Rescue On the High Seas

Of course once Agent Smith and Agent Summers came out of their ritual which they had hoped would give them some insight on the Vampire we had captured Agent Smith they did not take it well. To be honest Agent Summers seemed to understand although the same could not be said for Agent Smith which I understood. Don’t get me wrong it’s not like I was not willing to risk my life to save them but I was not about to throw it away by acting foolishly.

So I entered a precognitive trance to try and see their future and I was thankful to see that they still lived in my vision. From what I was able to determine they were on a ship within a pentagram being prepared for sacrifice. I was able to look up and I saw a full moon in the sky which meant they had three days. I had been worried because I had not discussed the vision that had caused me to leave them where they had not even lasted the day. Perhaps by removing myself from the equation I had saved them or at least I could tell myself that.

The ship I saw them on turned out to be Romanov the same ship that had incidentally on the dock near the warehouse base of Necro. Our men had already arrived on the scene and the magical wards were gone and warehouse of course empty. So that left us to arrange for a helicopter to fly us out the seven miles offshore once we had located the Romanov seven miles offshore. As we had neared the scene I noted the odd cloud cover surrounding the area and Agent Summers and I flew to the Romanov from about a mile out while I carried Agent Smith aka Shade to the ship. Summers said she could have flown us but the idea of being transformed into a mist like state for the transit had me a little bothered. As it was Shade had slipped from my grip and I had to catch him telekinetically he was alright but had seemed a little shaken but we arrived safe and sound.

Agent Summers had changed her attire into some kind of fey outfit and looked more prepared for a medieval fair than a rescue but I no one to argue suited up in a form fitted Environmental Suite over my bullet proof gear. When we arrived there was a little action but nothing worth really reporting on but there was of course good news since as we had arrived on the interior of the ship we overheard Cowboy who it seemed was leading an attempted escape. Somehow Voice decided to make a lot of noise which made it necessary for us to make a quicker than I had anticipated emergency teleportation from the ship.

To be honest I had never felt such a gut wrenching pull on my entire being as on that day for my teleportation had gone drastically wrong. I remember hearing them sounding an alarm and trying to raise some kind of shield and the rocking of the ship in motion and the next thing I was almost blacking out. When the teleportation ended I felt a strange sensation that I can only describe as moving without moving which I would later learn was due to a dimensional shift. Somehow I had been bending the rules and not even realized it and on that occasion I had paid the price.
